What is Needed at a Closing
For a transaction where you are the purchaser and borrower on a mortgage, you will need to bring the following documentation to the closing:

Picture identification;

Copy of homeowner’s insurance or binder;

A list of your past residences for the prior 10 years; and
-
Any requirements or documents specifically required by the mortgage company.
The following documentation should be brought with you to a closing where you are the sellers:

Picture identification;
-
Social security number;
-
A list of your residences for the past 10 years; and
-
If you are married, both spouses are required to be at a closing involving the sale of residential property.
